    The 23rd Laugavegur Ultra Marathon will take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2019. Registration for the race will be open from January 11th to June 30th but can be closed sooner if the race is fully booked.   • The Laugavegur trail

    The Laugavegur trail is located in the southern highlands of Iceland and connects the nature reserves Landmannalaugar and Thorsmork. For many runners the Laugavegur Ultra Marathon is the most enjoyable race in Iceland. The course is 55 km and takes runners through areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Registration is open

Registration for the 2018 Laugavegur Ultra Marathon that takes place on Saturday, July 14th is now open here at marathon.is. Registration closes latest on June 30th but sooner if the race is fully booked. In 2017 the race was fully booked four weeks after it started so we recommend that runners register sooner than later.

Registration for the 2018 Laugavegur Ultra Marathon will start on January 12th, 2018 at 12:00 and will be open until June 30th unless the race will be fully booked before that date.
