Reykjavik Marathon 2010 is only five days from now. Preparation for the event is on time and everything is about to be ready for Saturday.
We have recently updated maps with the running routs and recommend that you take a look by clicking here.
Registration for the event is going well. This morning 4491 runners had registered for the run and 7000 more are expected to register over the next few days. On-line registration closes on Wednesday, August 18th. Click here to register. |

The 27th Reykjavik Marathon will take place in the centre of Reykjavik on Saturday August 21st. Registration for the event is in full swing. About 2500 runners have registered so far which is about 5% more than same time last year.
About 1900 Icelandic runners are registered and 600 from other countries. There are 20% fewer foreign runners registered today than same time last year. During the volcanic activities in April and May, registration almost stopped but is now increasing every day.
