The 2014 Suzuki Midnight Sun Run was held on June 23rd and have there never been more participants registered. The total number of registered participants was 2632, around 500 from abroad from 47 countries. Most of them came from United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Sweden. Compared to last year 1.995 people registered for the race, around 350 from abroad.
Andrew Mcleod from Germany and Anne Julie Aimee Cattenoz from France won the half marathon race. In the 10 k Ingvar Hjartarson and Agnes Kristjansdottir, both from Iceland, where the winners. Guðni Páll Pálsson and Hrönn Guðmundsdóttir won the 5 k race. The first three runners in each distance got their prizes at the finish area last night.
