Race day is officially over

The 34th Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon took place today in the City Centre of Reykjavik. We had over 14 thousand participants this year taking part in five different distances. The weather was perfect for running and many managed to beat their best personal finish time. To review the total results of the race press here. Pictures taken during the race have been uploaded to Facebook and Instagram and there are even more to come over the next few days.

While the race is over this year the charity collection is still going strong at our charity collection page, hlaupastyrkur.is. So if you are someone you know has yet to reward a proud finisher after the race there is still a chance. Hlaupastyrkur.is will be open for donations until midnight, Monday the 21st of August.
