The 2010 Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon took place today. Thank you 10.444 runners that registered this year, 9.427 Icelandic runners and 1.017 from other countries.
Bjorn Margeirsson, ISL, and Rannveig Oddsdottir, ISL, where the fastest marathon runners this year. Oliver Steininger from Germany and Iris Anna Skuladottir, ISL, finished first in the half marathon. In the 10k race Josep Magnusson, ISL, and Arndis Yr Hafthorsdottir, ISL, where the fastest runners.

On-line registration for the 2010 Íslandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon has now been closed.
Registered runners should pick up race package with bib number, chip for timing, t-shirt etc on Friday August 20th at the Reykjavik Marathon EXPO. Those who missed the on-line registration can also register at the EXPO.
The EXPO will be located at Laugardalsvöllur, the national football stadium. Click here to find the location on a map. The opening hours of the EXPO are from 10:00 to 19:00. Race packages for participants in the Lazy Town Run should be picked up at Engjavegur 7, a white/grey building close to the national stadium with the sign "ÞRÓTTUR".
We will serve a wonderful Barilla pasta dinner at the EXPO for participants. Friends and guests can buy the pasta dinner for 5 Euros. The Barilla pasta will be served from 16:00-19:00. |
